Busy!

So both of our panels were on Friday, “Unreleased Anime with DYKA” at 3pm immediately after opening ceremonies, and “Otaku no Trivia with DYKA” at 7pm.

Needless to say, the next couple of hours were pretty jam packed.

They say all work and no play makes DYKA D U L L B O I S, but as much as we were having fun, our fans were having fun with us.

You really had to be there.

Day 2 – Saturday – Apr. 29.

With all of our duties out of the way, the three of us were set to enjoy the rest of the con including great food, an awesome “Whose Line is it Anime?” panel at Noon, and of course, some hardcore gaming.

Day 3 – Sunday – Apr. 30.

Yoi-Con 2017 was an awesome con. Oddly enough, it was the only con I’ve ever been to where more people came as the weekend went on, then on the first initial days, with Sunday having more people than Friday and Saturday combined. I would say that’s a good indicator that the con has some staying power and that people really want to be there.

Only thing on the itinerary for that day was closing ceremonies…or so I thought.

Somehow my schedule ended up not having the “Fireside” chat on it that all the other guests were on. Luckily I was able to get down there for the last 15 minutes or so to talk about what all our favorite moments were at the con and who to thank. Talking a little wrestling with Caitlynn French and playing Mario Kart 8 on the WiiU for the first time were what really made it cool, that and #manime.
